1. Use Baking Soda: Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda on the stained spot, leave to sit for 15 minutes. 

2. The Brush Off: Using a soft bristled brush or a clean dry cloth, gently brush off the baking soda from the couch. 

3. Blotting: Soak a clean towel in warm water and dish soap, then gently press and dab the stained area. Note, do not rub the area vigorously. The goal is to have the cloth absorb the stain.
