How to Maintain Rechargeable Fans

It’s one thing to buy a rechargeable fan, it’s another thing to ensure it doesn’t pack up in 1 month.

And to be honest, a lot of people just don’t know how to care for their fans. The last thing you want is buying the “best quality” of fans and then you start having issues with it.

It’s almost never the fault of the vendor in lots of cases. So, what do we do bout it?

Here are 3 top maintenance tips to ensure your rechargeable fan lasts long:

1. Get a TV Guard/Surge Guard:

Fluctuating current can cause a burn in the wires. Hence it’s advisable to get a surge guard to protect the fan against high voltage, surges/spikes, and power back surges.

2. Charge Responsibly:

Overcharging is an enemy to the durability of your rechargeable fan. Allow your fan rest. Overuse can cause it to overheat thereby leading to a damaged battery which can completely knock the fan or reduce its performance. Use only the charger that came with the fan and ensure the fan is charged properly.

3. The Blades & Body Cleaning:

It’s important to ensure the fan is kept clean from dust and dirt as they can accumulate, thereby reducing the fan’s lifespan. Clean the blades of the fan and body with a damp cloth or brush. Avoid pouring water or “bathing” the fan in a bid to thoroughly clean it. The last thing you want is a fire incident from your fan just because you let water get into the fan.
