What is an Air Fryer? And how does it work?

An Air Fryer is a countertop kitchen appliance used to make fried foods without actually “frying”.

The air fryer circulates hot air around the food leaving it crispy, crunch and tender. It not only adds flavour to foods, it also a healthy alternative to deep fried foods as it uses less oil compared to a deeply fried meal. A deep-fried meal may take up to 3 cups of 750ml of oil while Air-dried foods are usually within 1 tablespoon of 15ml oil.

Because they use less oil than deep-fryers, they therefore reduce one’s intake of fat from vegetable oils which then prevents you from heart diseases, fatty liver diseases and so much more.
